Introduction to Psychology
Fall 2025

An introduction course that focuses on the application of the scientific method to major areas of psychology: biological, cognitive, developmental, social, personality, and mental and physical health. The course addresses the importance of social and cultural diversity, ethics, variations in human functioning, and applications to life and social action both within these areas and integrated across them. The research basis for knowledge in the field is emphasized.

Research Methods 
Fall 2025

Introduction to research problems in psychology, with an emphasis on experimental designs which employ a single independent variable. Students plan an independent research project which is done outside of the class setting.

Health Psychology
Fall 2025

An examination of psychological aspects of human health, both physical and mental, and the processes of adjustment and growth. Consideration is given to the interplay of health and illness with emphasis on psychological methods of overcoming and preventing illness and of enhancing physical and emotional well-being.

1 / Healthcare Experiences of Muslim Women

This guest lecture was based on my area of study to expose students to different topics of research in the field of psychology.

2 / Brain and Religion

I gave a lecture on brain and religion, introducing the field pf neurotheology to students and sharing the recent research about this emerging field. 

3 / Repeated Measures ANOVA

I taught about the usage and logic of repeated measures ANOVA and introduced the reporting according to APA formats.
